Here, we are invited to observe a communication exercise that is open to the public. The holder of the exercise – in its own words, a temporary reproduction – observes encounters between people in order to become one of us. But that transformation is incomplete: the figure is still transitioning from a two-dimensional form to a three-dimensional form.

By practising and putting its own words into the mouths of the people seen in the video, the figure tries to figure out what human interactions might possibly be about and how they could be imitated. At the end of these practice rounds, one can consider how the figure has succeeded in its task.
