Amos Anderson’s summer place, Söderlångvik Manor, is in the archipelago municipality of Kimitoön, some 170 km west of Amos Rex. The main building, which functions as a museum, has been completely restored and renovated – Söderlångvik is open again.
Söderlångvik boasts one of Finland’s biggest apple orchards. The estate is also known for its unique cultural landscape and lush, protected woodlands on the Purunpää promontory. You can explore the surroundings on three marked nature paths that begin at Söderlångvik Manor.
Café Söderlångvik, located in a former cowshed, is a pleasant café with a wide variety of offerings. The café is open daily and hosts a different art exhibition each summer.
