The final projects of the advanced studies at the Helsinki Dance Institute are ambitious artistic showcases by emerging dance artists, reflecting years of training and expressive development. The performances feature students both as dancers and choreographers, presenting works they have developed throughout the academic year under the guidance of their teachers.

The works are the students’ own choreographies, emphasizing original movement as well as structural and dramaturgical thinking. These final projects offer a glimpse into the thinking and creative processes of a new generation of dance artists.

Helsinki Dance Institute is an educational institution that provides basic arts education in dance for children, young people, and adults.
