At Amos Rex’s artist talk, you’ll hear from Anna Estarriola about her practice, her art and the exhibition’s themes. The artist meetings are laid-back events where you can follow the artist’s exchange of ideas with various art professionals.
At the artists’ talk, on Thursday 28 August 2025 at 5:30 PM, Anna Estarriola and Hanna Helavuori, a theatre and performing arts researcher, critic, and freelance writer, will discuss the exhibition from the perspectives of staging and performance. Estarriola’s art reflects her background in dance and performance art. What kind of meanings are built in her way of treating movement, corporeality, and presence?
The event is in English and will be held in the exhibition hall. The event will last approximately one hour.
Participation is for the price of your entrance ticket. You don’t need to book in advance but please arrive early!
