What happens in the exhibition after the museum closes? Opening Eve is a LARP (Live Action Role-Play) in which participants bring the artworks to life.

The game starts at 5 PM and lasts until around 9 PM.
Language: Finnish.
Age limit: 15+.

Tickets: €15 for students and Museokortti holders. €5 for under 18s. Standard price: €30.


Kaisa Kangas

Kaisa Kangas is a larp designer with more than 30 years of experience in live-action role-playing games.

Her most notable works include the Palestinian-Finnish larp Halat hisar (“State of Siege”; 2013, 2016) and the Palestinian-Nordic Seaside Prison (2022-2024), which explores the situation in Gaza and has been staged in Helsinki, Turku, Oslo, Vilnius, and London.

Kangas is the artistic producer of the international short-larp festival Immersion Larp, held in Turku. Last year, she published the accessible non-fiction book Larppi eläytymisen taiteena (“Larp as the Art of Immersion”; Vastapaino, 2025).

In summer 2025, Ropecon ry awarded Kangas the Kultainen lohikäärme lifetime achievement award for her long-standing work in Finnish and Nordic larp culture.
