On two Saturdays in December, we’ll host an open workshop on exploring the future at Futures School from 1 PM to 4 PM. This workshop is particularly well suited for 13-year-olds and up, so now is a good time to bring your teens to the museum to explore their own thoughts about the future. You can drop in flexibly every half an hour or so. No need to book in advance!
At the Amos Rex Futures School, you can create imaginary scenes of the future – splashy and sparkly or dark and prickly. We will personally be there to guide the making and the imagining of the future.
You’ll get to create your own future script and learn what a black swan is in futurology. In the Futures School art workshop, you can explore your own relationship with the future with our guidance and easy tasks. You can decide on the spot how you want to participate. See you at Studio Rex!
The art workshop is especially suited for people aged 13 and over (adults too!), but younger visitors can also enjoy the experience. Welcome together or on your own!
The School of the Future is organised in collaboration with the Children and Youth Foundation.
Futures school workshop is included in the price of a museum ticket. It is located at the underground exhibition floor level.
